• Avoid Sun Exposure: Limit sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin may increase risks.• Discontinue Retinoids and Exfoliants: Stop using retinoids, glycolic acid, or exfoliating products 5–7 days before treatment.• No Waxing or Hair Removal: Avoid waxing or plucking the treatment area 1–2 weeks prior.• Arrive with Clean Skin: Thoroughly cleanse your face on the day of treatment, removing all makeup and lotions.• Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Follow these steps after your SkinPen Elite facial to promote healing and optimize results:

• Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks post-treatment. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ if outdoors.• Gentle Skincare: Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for the first 3–5 days. Avoid harsh products, exfoliants, or active ingredients.• No Makeup for 24 Hours: Prevent irritation by avoiding makeup during this time.• Redness and Sensitivity: Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity is normal and should subside within 24–48 hours.• Avoid Heat and Sweating: For 48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise.• Do Not Pick or Scrub: Avoid touching or picking at your skin to prevent irritation or infection.• Hydrate and Moisturize: Continue drinking plenty of water and apply moisturizer to promote healing.
