Crystal Quest® uses a house blend of media made of a special high-purity alloy blend of two dissimilar metals - copper and zinc (ERA-6500, ERA-9500), ion exchange resins, reducing heavy metals such as lead, copper, aluminum, and water hardness, as well as granulated activated coconut shell and catalytic GAC’s.

GAC is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chloramines and these byproducts, chemicals linked to cancer (THM\'s, benzene) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC\'s), PCB\'s, MTBE\'s and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water causing bad taste and odors in your drinking water.

While also providing filtration, the cartridge includes an Alkalizing media that enhances alkalinity naturally. The Alkalizing blend includes the natural minerals of magnesium oxide and calcium oxide in our pH Enhancing Blend, which is non-hazardous, environmentally friendly, safe and a cost-effective treatment for alkalinity. Our white ceramic spheres, which uses adsorption for impurities and heavy metals, also aids in human metabolism and natural healing. Our tourmaline and infra-red spheres are used to drive the alkalinity higher.
