This ornament was created in loving memory of Katherine Ferruzzo, who tragically lost her life in the July 4th Camp Mystic floods.  On July 4, 2025, twenty-seven girls lost their lives in the Kerr County floods at Camp Mystic; Katherine Ferruzzo, Chloe Childress, Hanna Lawrence, Rebecca Lawrence, Anna Margaret Bellows, Mary Grace Baker, Renee Smajstrla, Sarah Marsh, Eloise Peck, Janie Hunt, Cile Stewart, Kellyanne Lytal, Greta Toranzo, Abby Pohl, Margaret Sheedy, Virginia Hollis, Mary Kate Jacobs, Molly DeWitt, Virginia “Wynne” Naylor, Mary Barrett Stevens, Hadley Hanna, Blakey McCrory, Linnie McCown, Ellen Getten, Lucy Dillon, Lainey Landry, and Lila Bonner.  The Heaven’s 27 Foundation carries their light forward, transforming their joy, kindness, and dreams into scholarships, community programs, and initiatives that help build the future they would have created.

Every stitch of this piece helps support Heaven’s 27, with 100% of proceeds donated in Katherine’s honor.
