TODOLIVA \"ARBEQUINA\" (5L) Todoliva Arbequina is a single-varietal extra virgin wine that is characterized by being harmonious, sweet, fragrant and delicate. Its fruitiness is intensely green. It presents aromas of grass, banana and almond, with notes of tomato and apple. In the mouth it is balanced with a slight bitterness and spiciness. It is advisable to store in a cool place, away from light and heat. _________________________________________________________________ This Arbequina EVOO comes from olives from the Olive Grove estate in Seto \'El Cercao de San Luis\', being the first in the world to be certified, which has a positive carbon footprint balance. The certification has been carried out by the \' Eco-Efficient Cropping Systems\' Group of the University of Cordoba. Each kg of this oil produced has allowed 1.24 kg of CO2 to be removed from our atmosphere, a gas that is harmful to our planet and causes the greenhouse effect and global warming.
All the olives used to make this oil have been picked exclusively from the tree (without touching the ground) and at their optimum ripeness to preserve all the health and organoleptic quality of the oil. The oil has been extracted \'cold\' using only mechanical procedures on the day of its collection. Once obtained, the extra virgin olive oil has been stored in a cellar, in stainless steel tanks with an inert atmosphere and a constant temperature for its perfect conservation, to then be packaged on demand in 1 L cans, an opaque container that protects the essential properties of the oil from photo-oxidation caused by the direct incidence of light.
The Arbequina variety is originally from Catalonia, taking its name from Arbeca, a town in the Lleida region located in the Garrigas region, where it is believed that its cultivation began. Today it is widely spread throughout the national territory and in many countries around the world. Its oil is highly appreciated for its good organoleptic characteristics. Its smoothness, sweetness and fruitiness allow it to be used in a wide variety of culinary preparations, sauces, salads, fish, etc. It is a highly appreciated oil in confectionery.
It is one of the most consumed oils in Spain.
