HOT ! 20s Garden Party Dress Vintage Pastel Floral Print Silk Chiffon XS VFG

This 1920s vintage garden party dress is floaty feminine perfection! The bodice is simply styled, with cap sleeves and a ruffle at the neck. The dropped waist panel is longer in the back than front, and is covered by a fluttery peplum, also longer in the back. The skirt has inset godet panels that begin just below the knees to add some ease for dancing and walking.

SIZE: No size label. When considering measurements, keep in mind that the dress has to be put on over your head, and that the fabric has no stretch.

FABRIC/COLORS: The floral print is done in soft pastels - oversized yellow roses with white and peach against a pale pink background plus scattered leaf shapes in darker pin or blue plus black. The fabric is an airy chiffon with a more pronounced crepe texture than is sometimes seen.

CLOSURES: N/A, the dress slips on over the head.

CONDITION: The condition is near-excellent. There are no stains, holes or tears. The one issue noted is some seam stress to the lower edge of the dropwaist panel in front - see closeup. It is covered by the peplum there. If I were going to wear this dress, I would carefully apply a bit of Fray Lock (or something similar) to those areas first.
