A lipstick red handbag is a favourite choice for vintage handbags and this one is gorgeous and in almost mint condition. It is is in a very bright, clean red leather, with no marks, scratches or scuffs to the exterior. The only item of any note is a crease to the bottom of the handbag near a back corner where it looks as though it may have been knocked against something or dropped on that rear corner. This is not particularly noticeable in use, being on the back of the handbag and doesn\'t affect the integrity of the handbag but is mentioned for completeness. An attractive feature of this handbag is the little gilt motifs to the front of the handbag where the handles join the handbag. The top of the frame is leather covered and the gilt frame and clasp are in excellent condition, with no tarnish or loss of gilt. The handles look unused and are firm and self supporting. The inside of the handbag is in a similarly clean condition, lined in a black grosgrain fabric. There are slip and zipped pockets and the \'Freedex made in Ireland\' fabric label is sewn onto the zipped pocket.A gorgeous looking vintage handbag, in a fantastic colour and in great condition.
