can the Heater be connected to a thermostat?

Yes! Thermostats most commonly used with the Modine Hot Dawg Heater are single-stage room and two-stage room digital or duct thermostats. Additionally, low temperature thermostats are frequently paired with this heater. These thermostats can be set at lower temperature ranges than traditional residential room thermostats which typically have a range between 60°F to 80°F.

Is this unit set up to run on propane or natural gas?

The Hot Dawg runs on natural gas, but there is a conversion kit available from Modine which can convert it to propane.

Does the Heater vent to the outside of The Work space?

Yes! The venting system allows for vertical venting through the roof or horizontal venting through a wall. Please note that venting components must be purchased seperately and installed by a licensed professional.
