Produced in Cruz de Piedra, Maipú – Mendoza, Laur Terroir Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil reflects more than a century of olive-growing tradition. The Laur family has been part of Mendoza’s olive culture since 1906, pioneering high-quality olive oil production in one of Argentina’s most respected terroirs.
This organic extra virgin olive oil is crafted from a carefully balanced blend of Arauco, Arbequina, and Frantoio olives, harvested from approximately 900 protected centenary olive trees grown under certified organic practices.
The olives are processed using a continuous centrifugal extraction system, preserving the natural aromas and flavors while maintaining a low acidity level below 0.5%, a hallmark of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
The result is an elegant oil with a vibrant green-yellow color and a fresh aromatic profile. Notes of green olives, apple, and banana combine with delicate hints of sweetness, while the palate reveals fresh grassy notes with a balanced bitterness and gentle spiciness.
