Why Purple Sea Moss?

Purple Sea Moss is rare, stunning, and powerful. To preserve its deep color and maximum potency, it’s dried in a dark room — never bleached or exposed to harsh sun like some lower-quality mosses.

Because colored sea moss is dried immediately after harvesting and not rinsed first, you may notice a fine layer of sea salt — not table salt, but a natural, soft dusting. Be sure to wash it thoroughly before soaking to remove any salty taste.  Purple sea moss has a stronger ocean flavor and smell.  

Important note: As it soaks, the purple pigment will naturally release into the water because sea moss is water soluble. This is completely normal — but don’t soak it for too long. We recommend 8–12 hours, changing the water if soaking longer, to prevent any risk of spoilage or mold.

How We Got Started (and Why We\'re Different)

I’m not just a seller — I’m an Import/Exporter who fell in love with sea moss during a business trip to St. Lucia. While meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture, I was introduced to a local sea moss farmer whose family has been harvesting from the ocean for years. I’ve been out on the boats, visited the drying facilities, and built strong relationships with the people behind this incredible product.

From there, my team and I dove deep. We researched, tested over 20 sea moss gel brands, and worked with a chemist to develop a formula that retains all 92 essential minerals — without boiling or compromising its natural benefits. What we discovered shocked us: many companies overprocess their moss, use heat, or even sell pool-grown imitations with contaminants. We made it our mission to do better.

Every batch we import is certified authentic by the Ministry of Agriculture in St. Lucia, and we’re proud to offer full documentation upon request.

Our sea moss is never wild-crafted or grown on ropes. Those methods mimic nature, but they’re not truly natural. Wild-crafted sea moss is farmed, not foraged, and despite what you may read online — sea moss does not grow on rocks, and rocks offer no nutritional value.

Packaging & Storage

Your sea moss will arrive in a tied plastic bag or, for 4 oz purchases, a resealable pouch. For best results, transfer it to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The packaging used for shipping is not intended for long-term storage.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the edible nature of this product and health and safety standards (especially in a post-COVID world), all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or refunds, as we have no way of ensuring that the product hasn’t been tampered with after leaving our hands. We stand by the quality of our sea moss and are happy to provide customs import documents, waybills, and Ministry of Agriculture certification upon request.
