All parts of brightway sneakers can be repaired or replaced.(※Repair and part replacement are paid services.)

Notably, brightway offers full sole replacement, which is rare for sneakers.While many high-end sneakers do not support replacement of their original soles, brightway can restore them to like-new condition.

In addition to cup insoles, many key parts are replaceable.This system is possible because all manufacturing processes are completed domestically, and our in-house craftsmen carefully craft each pair.

〜 Domestic materials and local craftsmanship 〜

brightway is made by us, International Shoes Co., Ltd., a leather shoe manufacturing factory in Osaka.

The founder was Mr. Giichi Ueda.In 1954, our shoemaking began in a small workshop with two people.For over half a century since then, we have supported the shoemaking of many women\'s shoe brands both domestically and internationally.

What we have valued since our founding is \"to honestly make good shoes.\"Even after more than half a century, we still prioritize carefully crafting shoes that can be loved for a long time.

brightway also sources Japanese-produced materials as much as possible from producers we know directly.

Before starting any manufacturing, we always visit the producers, listen to their vision, share our goals, and then collaborate on creating products.

〜 Japanese materials and technology, for the next generation 〜

The reason brightway insists on domestic materialsis from our desire to once again bring Japanese shoemaking culture and technology to the world.

Japan has a history of considerate craftsmanship, meticulous handwork, and locally rooted manufacturing.We actively use materials born in Japan to preserve these values and convey them accurately.

While many factories have shifted to overseas production, brightway chose to continue shoemaking here in Osaka.This is to pass on the techniques and spirit that our predecessors have protected to the next generation.

Like in Europe, where the philosophy and skills of craftsmen are passed down from parent to child—we aim to build such a manufacturing utopia in Japan as well.
