Presented is a beautiful graduated strand of pearls with a white gold and diamond clasp. This necklace dates to around the 1930s-1950s and is likely of American make. The necklace is strung with lovely pearls ranging in size from about 3.6 millimeters to about 8 millimeters on the largest in the center. The necklace has a tongue insert style clasp in white gold, set with a sparkling diamond on each side.

The necklace is in great overall condition. The clasp functions well and closes securely. The pearls are all in good shape, with nice nacre, except the largest pearl in the center which has some surface blemishes.

The tongue of the clasp is stamped 14k.

The necklace is about 17 3/4 inches long.

The necklace weighs 18.4 grams.
