This 150 grit diamond flattening plate is used to keep your stones flat and in good condition. It works quickly and does not stick easily. I\'ve been testing one out for a little bit and find it to cut as fast or maybe slightly faster and sticks less than the DMT\'s I\'ve been using for many years.

The plate is a solid piece of stainless steel with a layer of diamonds plated on one side.

We recommend using this on stones above 400 grit. You can use it on lower grit stones, but it will more significantly impact the life of the plate. Also, please use light pressure in flattening. Heavy pressure will also negatively impact the lifespan of this flattening plate.
