Each pack contains 8 Japanese-made incense matches with a burning pad included for safe use.

Each match burns for about 10 minutes, while the scent lingers for 30 minutes or more.

To light, gently strike near the tip and allow the flame to reach the incense stick before blowing it out and placing it on the pad. If the match breaks, you can safely light the broken piece with a lighter and use both halves.

The Harima region of Awaji has been producing matches and incense for nearly one hundred and fifty years. The westerly winds through Awaji island create the perfect temperature to dry incense, and each of the fragrances derives from herbs grown by a local incense producer using traditional methods.
