This iron frying pan is made in Japan and has a reliable quality. It has a size of approximately 42.5 cm in length, 27 cm in width, and 15 cm in height. The body has a clear lacquer coating surface finish. The body and handle are made of iron. The preparation before use includes removing the clear lacquer coating to prevent rusting during distribution and adding more oil to fry scrap vegetables thoroughly to blend the oil. To remove the paint, wash with a sponge dipped in dishwashing detergent and wipe dry. Place on stove top and heat over medium heat. When the pan is hot, increase the heat and cook, moving from the center to the sides, until the whole pan is bluish in color. Rust may occur if the pan is kept moist or dirty during storage, so it is important to remove rust, wipe off the water, and apply oil before storing. Do not use the pan in a dishwasher or dryer as it may cause rust. This pan is suitable for cooking at high temperature at once over high heat using a gas flame only.
