HOT ! Granny\'s Elderberry Syrup Kit

Instructions:

Step 1: Pour 3 cups of distilled water into a sauce pan. Pour Herbs into the muslin tea bag (included) and place the bag in the water.

Step 2. Bring everything to a boil. Once boiling give it a good stir and cover with a lid and reduce heat to a low simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the liquid has been reduced to half. 

Step 3: Remove from the heat and allow the syrup to cool until it can be handled. Wait for about 15-30 minutes. 

Step 4: Once cool, remove and squeeze the brew bag to ensure all of the nutrients are extracted. Nothing goes to waste!

Step 5: Add 1 cup of local raw unfiltered honey. This is not optional for a longer shelf life. You can add 2 table spoons of 80 proof vodka to give an even longer shelf life. You can also substitute honey with maple system for children under 1. 

Dosage:

• 
  For general immune support during cold and flu season, adults can take 1 tablespoon daily, and children (over one year old due to the raw honey) can take 1 teaspoon daily.


• 
  If feeling under the weather, the dosage can be increased to every 2-3 hours until symptoms subside.
