Vintage Kilim rug handwoven by Berber women in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. The name kilim (or kilim) comes from the Turkish word kilim, which in turn has roots in the Persian gelīm, meaning \"coarsely woven carpet\" or \"carpet without pile\". Moroccan kilim rugs have geometric patterns and strong colors, typically in wool. It gives each rug its own story and very special expression.
The rugs are primarily made of wool. Cleaned or washed with a wrung cloth.
