HOT ! Indian Tapestry Necklace

This rich and intricate gold and silver necklace was inspired by long hot days spent watching the sunlight move slowly down an old indian tapestry hanging on the wall... This dainty but striking necklace is gorgeous on its own or perfect for layering. Looks great as a choker or worn long. To craft this necklace I start first by piercing and cutting out the designs from hand rolled sheets of sterling silver and 18k yellow gold. Then each piece is then filed and soldered together. The little solid gold balls are than formed and soldered on the sides. Lastly after being sanded and finished off with a brushed matte finish, I hand engrave the detail, then oxidize the silver black to give it that striking contrast.
