Vico Magistretti for Casina, \'Carimate\' dining chairs, model \'115\' leather, stained beech, Italy, 1963 This large set of dining chairs belongs to the \'Carimate\' line, one of Vico Magistretti’s most well-known furniture series. These chairs have been originally created for the club house of the ‘Carimate Golf Club’ in the Como area, Italy, a place that Magistretti himself designed, dating back to 1959. The chair was specifically designed for the restaurant, made of red aniline-dyed wood and straw, embracing a rustic flavor. Magistretti focused on small yet significant details, such as the anatomical curvature of the backrest and the attachment of the seat to the legs. The present chairs have a patinated cognac leather seat with a wooden beech frame stained in a brown color. Kindly note that the chairs are in good, used condition.
