This Mexican Sterling Silver necklace with 24 karat gold vermeil is the representation of a Rosa Beige petal (Beige Rose petal).
This flower, little known by its name, is native to the canals of Xochimilco in Mexico City and was bred for the first time due to the mixture of several foreign roses. Tradition in our country at that time dictated, that the first harvest of a new flower be given as an offering to our Virgen de Guadalupe, and it was this offering that made the Beige Rose the flower that traditionally adorns the Guadalupana (Virgin on Guadalupe).
