Designed by French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Palissade is a collection of outdoor furniture for HAY in powder-coated or hot-dip galvanized steel. United by a common principle of symmetrical geometry, the Palissade collection is designed to reproduce the same visual simplicity and basic strength. Designed in color and shape to blend effortlessly into a natural landscape or urban setting, Palisade is intended to be used over a longer period of time and become more beautiful over the years. The collection is suitable for a wide variety of environments, from cafes and restaurants to gardens, terraces and balconies.

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay. Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s. Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers. Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.
