Over time, untreated teak develops a sophisticated silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements.

Special Considerations – Untreated Teak

This chair is crafted from solid, untreated FSC-certified teak. As a living material, teak will naturally respond to its environment.

  Natural Weathering: If left untreated, teak will gradually develop a soft silver-gray patina when exposed to sun and moisture. This process is purely aesthetic and does not affect structural integrity.

  Surface Changes: Hairline cracks, checking, and subtle movement may occur as the wood expands and contracts with temperature and humidity changes. These characteristics are normal and part of solid hardwood performance.
