An early 20th C., Tibetan backrest/pillow rug measuring 25”x34” (with woolen cloth border)- the rug itself is 22”x30”. The rug has a black base and with a border of colorful strands that are topped by motifs of clouds and floral motifs in the center. This rug was used to cover a cushion and used as a back rest.
The rug itself is in very good condition with a full pile. The rug is separating from the border Wool cloth at some locations .
