HOT ! Small Worn Vintage Persian Rug / 4\'2 x 6\'6 Rug #4144

This beautiful antique 1920s Persian rug packs plenty of character into its just-under-4x7 size. Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool, it shows off an allover botanical design on a soft ivory ground. The colors are lively yet balanced, with rust, aqua blue, French blue, faint pink, terracotta, teal green, warm walnut, and even hints of space blue, all coming together in a playful mix. The border feels like a party, with floral chain guards and what might even be an animal motif chain sneaking through for extra charm.

This piece has lived a long life and isn’t shy about showing it. The pile is low, the wear is scattered, and a small yellowish stain in the field tells part of its story. One end has been lovingly restored with expert reweaving, a sign of real care and respect from past owners who wanted to keep it looking its best. Despite its age and quirks, the rug feels inviting and warm, perfect for adding personality to a space.
