Circa 1980\'s. A unique statement piece sourced from a small village neighbouring Ouarzazate in Morocco. Featuring a dark blue field, made from indigo-dyed natural wool - a rare dyeing practice in Morocco today. The central large lozenge motif in red sits in between two larger fibulae, an Amazigh symbol found in jewellery as well as textiles that signifies luck. A beautiful mix of bold colours that unexpectedly complement each other and form the strong character that this rug displays.
