The field pants are where a pair of work pants meet jeans. They\'re a slim-straight trouser shape with slant pockets in the front, welt pockets in the back, and finished hems. (Unlike most of our trousers, which come unfinished at the bottom, these are sized by both waist and inseam — no alts required!) They\'re made of lightweight cotton twill with a great hand to it... soft, but not too soft. One of our favorite four-season fabrics, which is why we call it AP for All-Purpose. Each pair has been garment-dyed to juuuust the right shade of stone — think khaki, but paler — which gives the color a slightly lived-in, variegated quality from the get-go.
