HOT ! DIY Bed Frame Kit

Making your own mattress? Why not make your bed frame too! You can create a bed that fits your room or a growing family perfectly.  This bed frame can not only be adjusted in width and length, but you can also create different shapes!    

The frame design creates the perfect border to hold your hull filled mattress which means less straightening.

All pieces are cut from Pure Bond Plywood (this plywood uses only soy-based glue / no added formaldehyde).  Simply sand your kit pieces and slide in standard 2x3 lumber.  View the assembly guide here.

We supply the vertical boards (see photo below for what is included in kit).  Make sure you can source 2X3 studs locally before ordering your kit. Some customers have made their frames with 2X4\'s but we have not tested this here and do not have instructions on how to use 2X4\'s. 

Horizontal boards (standard 2x3 lumber, not included in kit) are purchased locally so you can save on shipping.  Simply have your local lumber yard, where you purchase your 2x3\'s, cut them to size for you! The horizontal lumber we purchased for our King size prototype came to just under $85.  You may want to check the availability of 2x3 lumber in your area before ordering.  They are available through and Lowes Home Centers but may not be stocked in all store locations.

Make your bed with long side tables, short side tables or no side tables. This bed frame can grow with your child from Toddler to King and be passed on for generations.  This bed frame contains no metal parts and no screws.  It goes together easily using just a rubber mallet!
