This gorgeous kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with hemp and goat hair in black and white resulting in a gorgeous tweed.
Colorful Jijim symbols are woven throughout in blue, red, yellow.
This is a two piece kilim sewn together. One side is 6 inches longer than the other. The shorter end is 8’10”

Actual size is 7’2”x9’4”

It has been professionally washed and restored. This is kilim has appearance of darker areas are due to more black goat hair used in that area. There are hand stitched patches done by ththe villagers and also a small 1.5” fabric patch. It’s vintage, eclectic and super!
