Universally appreciated for their quality by experts and collectors, Josan rugs, often attributed to the \"Hamadan\" family of rugs could be considered an outlier. Some experts attribute it to the \"Malayir\" family because of its proximate location while others argue that with its typically used blue double-weft, it should be part of the Sarouk family.
