With its glowing persimmon red field and rows of abstract plants and trees motifs, this tribal Baluch rug feels like a stylised orchard in full bloom. Each little tree is outlined in inky indigo or walnut brown and filled with pops of sage, saffron, coral, and teal. Small eight-point rosettes drift between the saplings, giving the composition a gentle, almost confetti-like rhythm.

A narrow inner fence of black triangles frames the scene, while the main border—woven on an ivory ground—alternates cheerful snowflake guls in every colour the weavers had at hand. Natural abrash in the red ground lets the shades shift from soft salmon to ripe tomato, a hallmark of hand-dyed yarns. The sides wander a little, proof that the loom stood on earthen ground rather than in a workshop, and that irregular charm is part of the Baluch story.
