Inspiration Behind the Evelyn Design: The Eveyln was the first Ola Kala bag ever designed. As a Colorado native, turned island-girl, this bag celebrates the journey from the mountains to the ocean and the peaks and valleys of every-day life that it took to get there; all intertwined with a whip-stitch symbolizing moving onward and upward with every step along the way.

Inspiration Behind the Lining: I left my hometown of nearly 50 years for the Virgin Islands on a journey to “find myself again.” People use maps to chart their course; to re-route when they get off course and to guide them along their journey to the goal of their final destination.
