Multimedia Friendly

The Bluelab Multimedia Meter and Leap pH Probe are designed to work with liquid solutions, low-abrasive media like Rockwool and CocoCoir, and highly-abrasive media like soil and potting mix. However, the frequency of calibration and cleanings will change depending on the materials used. 

Leap pH Probe 

The advanced Leap pH probe from Bluelab gives this model its fast, accurate measurements. With a reinforced spear tip that dives through the substrate to where readings are needed, fast-response sensors, and a corrosion-resistant BNC connector, this probe will quickly save growers time and money.

Calibration and Care

To ensure that readings are as accurate as possible, users should regularly calibrate this pH Meter using either pH 4.0 and pH 7.0 or pH 7.0 and pH 10.0 calibration solutions. The manufacturer recommends that calibration be done at least once a month when testing liquid solutions and low-abrasive media and at least once a week when testing highly abrasive media.

The Bluelab Leap Probe should be regularly cleaned with tap water and stored in a storage solution when not in use.
