This necklace is a one-of-a-kind design from our Kumihimo Silk line which combines vintage pearls and handwoven silk from Japan. It features hand braided 100% natural jet black silk and a vintage saltwater cultured akoya pearl at the center.
The silk is hand woven in Kanazawa Japan and is of the highest quality. This necklace features an 8-strand weave pattern called \"Edo-uchi-himo\". The silk measures 2mm.
It is set in solid contemporary 14K yellow gold and is paired with a large vintage 9mm Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl. It has great luster, bright rosy pink overtones and minimal blemishes. It is a slight button shape.
Total length is 19 inches including the clasp. Clasp and end caps are stamped \"585\" for solid 14K. Different lengths, colors and pearls are available. Contact Us to inquire about a custom order.
