HOT ! Black Jade Luna Necklace

Inspired by necklaces worn in Ancient China this piece reimagines those long Pearl and Jade necklaces in a shorter and more modern way. The Black Luna Necklace is a mixture of dainty Freshwater Pearls interlaced with gold-fill disk beads and moon-shaped Black Jade. It can be worn two ways: toggle with pendant in the front or flipped around!

Pearls are the June birthstone. They have long been associated with the moon and represent innocence, purity, faith, love, and balances emotions.

Jade is a highly valued and revered gemstone with a rich history and symbolism in various cultures around the world. It has been prized for its beauty, durability, and cultural significance for thousands of years. Jade dates back to 6000 BCE to the Neolithic period of Ancient China and was considered an “Imperial Gemstone”. During this time they used Jade to make ceremonial objects, carved decorations, and jewellery. Jade symbolizes: harmony, balance, integrity, longevity, and prosperity. 

This Type A Jade in this necklace is sourced from the Dongcai, China from a second-generation Jade carving family.

• Grade AA Freshwater Pearls.


•  The fine metal parts are all gold-fill. Both are tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic for most skin types. Gold-fill is 8-10 times thicker than plating and considered demi-fine jewellery. 


• Jade beads are approximately 8mm x 4mm and Type A that are natural and not chemically treated.
