How To Make Delicious Roasted Garlic

• Peel the loose, papery outer and slice the top of your garlic head with a sharp knife, (about a quarter or half inch), cutting off the ends of all the cloves.


• Place it cut side up on the plate and drizzle with a teaspoon or two of olive oil, or lay a slice of butter over the cut end.


• 
  Put it in a cold oven and turn it on to 400 degrees.


• Roast for 30 minutes or so, or until the cloves are soft.


• Allow the garlic to cool and then pull out the cloves and squeeze the roasted garlic out of the skin. Use it to flavor dips, sauces, soups, or spread it on bread or crackers. YUM!

***Please remember: handmade pottery should never be placed into a preheated, hot oven. Place it in a cold oven so that the pottery can heat up slowly as the oven preheats.
