This antique primitive spindle chair features a softly arched back, slender spindles, and a classic farmhouse profile. The richly layered painted finish has aged into a textured patina that lends depth and visual interest, highlighting the chair’s early American character. It makes a strong decorative statement styled on its own, gathered with other antique seating, or placed near a table where its sculptural form can be fully appreciated.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is a chip in the wood on the front corner of the seat. A primitive metal wire brace adds support to the legs, and old wood planks support the seat. Due to its age, lead paint may be present.
