One of the most celebrated architects of the second half of the 20th century, Frank Gehry made a career of pushing boundaries and questioning what architecture can do.Gehry created his bentwood furniture collection for Knoll in 1992. Inspired by the surprising strength of a wooden bushel basket, he sought to fully integrate material and design and woven in maple creating a structurally and aesthetically light masterpiece . They are signed to the underside by both Gehry and Knoll and are stamped with the date they were made 07/ 11/ 93. The chairs are in very good condition and are a sculptural work of art and would make a brilliant addition to your home.
