Circa 1930, this table having a circular tabletop with a lovely moulded edge, with decorative carvings, held by a slide hinge to the bench base, this simple mechanism is a great design that keeps the top sturdy in both positions, yet remains easy to operate, the tabletop forms the back to the chair when tilted having flat armrests, a plank seat, turned legs, and a shoe base, a wonderful combination of period Arts and Crafts and Jacobean style, having a rich antique  figured, tiger or quartersawn grain patterns add to the character and charm, a truly spectacular piece, the dimensions are 69cms wide 46cms deep standing 104cms tall, this superb cabinet is presented in excellent condition, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee, arrange a courier nationally, or please feel free to visit our new showroom in Bretherton
