The MR Chaise Lounge was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927 as part of the MR Collection, showcasing his innovative explorations of tubular steel.
Influenced by Marcel Breuer’s innovations and 19th-century iron rocking chairs, the MR Chaise features a floating recline supported by its seamless cantilever frame, which provides a slight spring and responsive support that adjusts to the user’s weight. Its channel-quilted mattress and strap supports balance comfort and elegance.
Shown in Black Aniline Leather on Mirror Chromed Stainless Steel.
The MR Chaise Lounge: Fixed Lounge Chair is a faithful reproduction of the original Mies van der Rohe MR Chaise Lounge, model 241LC.
