The LC4 chaise longue from 1928 is considered a piece of classic modernist relaxation furniture: designed by Charlotte Perriand with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, it is reduced to its essence of line, material, and comfort. This Cassina example is an early version from 1965, featuring steel springs, a chrome-plated frame, and a black leather cushion with a neck roll. The chaise longue conforms to the body, inviting focused relaxation. Signs of age are minimal; the overall condition is good to very good. A precisely crafted original, industrially produced – functional, elegant, and enduring.
