- Necklace of antique Venetian trade beads, Afghan Serpentine, Guatemalan Jade, antique Cameroon brass beads and Antique French glass discs. 24 inches long

- This is another example of how Venetian beads simply tell me what they wanted to be paired with.
- The Afghan Serpentine was exactly the right color and the bold shapes short bicone shapes and sizes complemented the robust lampworked barrels. Next came the brown discs, which I use in almost every African inspired necklace because the size, shape, and color so perfectly match so many trade beads.
- The antique Cameroonian brass bicones echo the shape of the Serpentine and help the necklace move and flex easily. They add just a hint of shine and connect the olive green and amber in the trade beads.
- Dark green Guatemalan Jade provide comfort on the back of the neck as does the smooth, elongated cast bronze S-hook clasp.
