Why Moonlight Waltz?

This necklace came to me as a feeling first — that quiet kind of beauty you only notice when you’re really present. Like a solo dance at night, when the room is dark and you can finally hear your own thoughts. The baroque pearl is the dancer here: luminous, a little dramatic, and impossible to ignore once you see it.

I chose a high-luster baroque pearl for the center because I wanted that “silk-sharp” shine — the kind of glow that looks almost like light has an edge. Around it, I kept everything soft on purpose: a strand of non-nucleated freshwater pearls with the gentlest, most tender luster. When you place those two lights side by side, the contrast makes the center pearl glow even more. It doesn’t have to compete. It simply becomes the brightest thing in the room.

And that’s what it does when you wear it, too:
