Detailed information on My Blessings 3 Layer Pewter Disc Necklace, Mother\'s Necklace Mother\'s Day, Personalized Hand Stamped Jewelry, Sterling Silver Alternative
Please see shop announcement prior to ordering for turn around time and other important information
The layers of this pewter pendant are molded together into 1 piece. The pewter is organic and will have slight imperfections, as you see in the photos. Each piece is hand stamped with the names, birthstones and/or dates of your choice. I have added a tree stamp to the top disc along with \"My Blessings\", but this can be changed if you\'d like.
Pewter is a beautiful alternative to sterling silver. It is the highest quality and 100% lead free. This metal is absolutely gorgeous, from the way it looks to the way it feels in your hands! Your pendant will come on an 18\" stainless steel link chain, as pictured. If you would like a different length, please leave a note to seller at checkout including the length you\'d like.
☆The top smallest disc fits up to 13 characters, INCLUDING SPACES.
☆The middle disc fits up to 14 characters, INCLUDING SPACES.
☆The bottom largest disc fits up to 15 characters, INCLUDING SPACES.

Pewter is considered to be a precious metal and became popular in the Middle Ages. It was used for kitchenware and in churches, initially available only to the very wealthy. Eventually pewter reached the masses and became common in taverns, cottages, and inns. Pewter is considered to be a soft, yet durable metal, and many historical pieces made from pewter have survived over the centuries. Pewter is the fourth most popular metal used in jewelry, behind gold, silver, and platinum. In the past, lead was often used in pewter. Today, because the adverse impact of lead on the human body is well-documented, almost all pewter items created in the U.S. are made lead-free.
