HOT ! Pu\'er Kings and Queens - Laobanzhang and Yiwu Tastebox

This premium tastebox is a shrine guarding the treasure of pu\'er teas. The two most precious areas, known as the royals of pu\'er tea, here offer their distinctive fragrances. 

Laobanzhang, the King of pu\'er tea, is a small village located at an altitude of around 1700mt on Bulang mountain. Tea trees in this micro-area make the most valuable Pu\'er tea with an intense wild fragrance and a chaqi 茶氣 - the energy felt in your body - like no other tea.Here you will taste:

- 2018 Laobanzhang Sheng Pu\'er 

- 2025 Laobanzhang Sheng Pu\'er

Yiwu mountain, the Queen of pu\'er tea, lays on the eastern side of Mekong river among the famous ancient mountains of pu\'er tea. Rich in micro-areas that give different shades of fragrances, from floral to sweet, the taste of pu\'er tea produced here is mellow and gentle, with the feminine charm of a queen. Here you will taste:

- 2004 Yiwu Shengpu, a collector\'s tea from a Bazhong 八中 green label (绿印 luyin) blended cake 

- 1990s Yiwu Shengpu, from Guafengzhai.

Each tea included in this tastebox is a 10gr sample from compressed cakes, for a total of 40 g of tea. 

Infusion Parameters

EASTERN BREWINGQuantity: 1 gr. of tea every 20 ml of waterRinse: before starting the infusion, rinse the leaves one or two times with a very fast washing in order to let them rehydrate and release a more intense brew. Gently cover the leaves with boiling water and pour it after a few seconds.Brewing time: Begin with a 10-second brew.
