HOT ! Lonicera

Lonicera is an old Dian Hong from sometime in the early 2000s together with some organic honeysuckle flowers dried. Honeysuckle is sweet and cold in nature. It can disperse heat of all types, from superficial levels to the blood levels of the body (considered to be the deepest level in TCM theory). It is light and is especially helpful to clear heat from the Lungs and Stomach, and upper body. This herb also supplements deficiency, enriches the blood, and alleviates thirst. It is very useful to alleviate hot, painful sores and skin eruptions in various stages of development, as well as throat and eye infections. It also clears externally contracted forms of heat that lead to fever, sore throat, and headaches. The warming nature of this old Dian Hong matches the honeysuckle perfectly and the flavors/aromas are a match made in Heaven.
