Detailed information on Woojeon
This first flush Korean green tea from Jiri Mountain in Hadong is made entirely by hand and consists of the most delicate first bud and one young leaf. Woojeon stands for \"before rain\" and is picked before Gokwoo, one of the 24 seasonal divisions of lunisolar calendar (commonly considered as lunar calendar), meaning \"rainfall for seeding\", which falls around April 20th.
Woojeon is well-known for its clean finish and natural sweetness with undertones of steamed milk and roasted nuts.
Our Woojeon is grown and processed by a certified organic farm. (MAFRA KOREA that has equivalence agreements with Canada, the U.S., the EU and the UK)
