HOT ! I Dream of Maui (Green Tea/Caffeinated)

Ingredients:  Organic Green Tea, Organic Pineapple, Organic Mango, Organic Papaya, Organic Blue Cornflower

Blender\'s Notes: Aloha! A very fine-leafed steamed sencha-style green tea base, blended with the essence of sunny Maui itself. Bright, freshly-preserved tropical dried fruits of Pineapple, Mango, Papaya. Naturally lightly caffeinated. 

Remember when ordering loose leaf teas, there are approximately 400-450 eight-ounce servings per pound (1 oz. of loose-leaf tea or tisane makes 25-30 eight-ounce servings). Many of our teas can be re-steeped at least 1x time. 

EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION:

Green Tea - Green Tea possesses a high content of antioxidants and polyphenols, known for neutralizing the potentially harmful effects of free radicals. Pineapple - Pineapple is a great source of vitamin C, B vitamins, fiber, and minerals like manganese.

Pineapple-Rich in Potassium, Phosphorus, Vitamins A, B, & C, pineapple also contains papain (which aids in digestion, and Chlorine (valuable for digestion of proteins). Because of these digestive aids, pineapple is touted for its ability to aid in constipation and support weight loss and general immune and glandular health.

Mango - Mango is low in calories yet high in nutrients — particularly vitamin C, which aids immunity, iron absorption and growth and repair.

Papaya - The possible health benefits of consuming papaya may include a reduced risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, aiding in digestion, improving blood glucose control in people with diabetes, lowering blood pressure, and improving wound healing.

Cornflower - The plant’s medicinal value lies primarily in its anti-inflammatory properties. Taken internally as an herbal tea, it is thought to aid in soothing stomach ulcers, while rinsing with the tea is used to speed the healing of sores or bleeding gums in the mouth
