Founder August Johansson was the first cobbler to hand-craft an orthopedic Swedish style clog for commercial sales in Europe. He started his little company, then called Troentorps Sko in 1907 near Båstad Sweden. Troentorp clogs were under the name Båstad Clogs in the 1970’s and were the “it” clog during that time. Today, its cult-like followers appreciate the hand craftsmanship, sustainable efforts and classic design on the original, wooden clog!
