Artist Heather Dickson, who is Inland Tlingit and Tagish from the Carcross Tagish First Nation and Nuxalk from Bella Coola, BC, added beadwork. Her design includes seaweed patterns, Bella Coola Blue colors, and turquoise beads to show her inland and coastal ties. The boot handles cold down to -32°C. Its Glacier Grip sole gives good traction on ice and snow. Overall, it blends cultural touches, comfort, and strong winter use.ABOUT THE ART:In my Walking in Two Worlds project with Manitobah, I pulled ideas from Carcross Tagish and Nuxalk cultures. I mixed classic beadwork with fresh, modern touches. Seaweed designs, Bella Coola Blue, and turquoise shades pay tribute to my inland and coastal family ties. The black boots nod to city vibes and style. Brown ones honor our deep roots in the land. This line aims to make you feel known in your own daily balance, so you can step into both worlds with real pride.
