Eco-Design

This bench is the result of the reflection on materials initiated with the creation of Non-Stop Materia. This piece was a finalist in the Guiltess plastic competition by the Rossana Orlandi gallery, during the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2022.

This organically shaped bench is made from several layers of recycled plastics, assembled using metal rods passed through the material. No glue is used for assembly.

This material is made from recycled plastic foams from industrial waste. It is then thermoformed and cut by water jet. Waterjet cutting is a manufacturing process that uses a hyperbaric water jet to cut materials (foam, leather, metal materials, stones, composite materials, agri-food products, etc.).

This material can be used outdoors without risk of alteration.

The Stromboli Design studio has created an original production concept in northern Italy. Stromboli wants to highlight the qualities of short circuit production in a context of ecological transition and new consumption. This studio uses artisanal capabilities and produces only to order, so it is possible to personalize the products.
