This 19th Century Georgian Escritoire Secretary Desk is a rare find, crafted with bird’s eye maple veneer, fine inlay, and dovetail joinery. Featuring multiple drawers, compartments, and a writing surface, this antique secretary desk combines function and artistry. A statement piece for collectors and refined interiors.
The fall-front desk opens to reveal a fitted interior of nineteen small drawers and a central cupboard, each faced with rich bird’s-eye maple and finished with a knob. This interior, designed for letters, ledgers, and precious keepsakes, reflects the era’s love of order and refinement.
